Modern society is nuts! People waste so much time on line doing absolutely nothing! Any idiot who spends all his or her time at a computer wasting other people’s time with stupid garbage is a real…um…wait a minute…uh…oops.

I agree with GIMC. But at least you got it down to a routine. What did you think of my new digs? And I had a better post up silly. I erased the other..
    Ha

It’s a real pain, all this stuff. I long for the simple ways. Alas, they are gone forever.

Best part is you probably left something off the check list. Like leaving your security pass in your other jacket and not realising until you get to the scanner.

Our power went out yesterday for the afternoon… it was so peaceful.

But then, when it came back – time to reset every freakin’ gadget in the house. :-P

I’d be lost without my buddy Mister Coffee. Mine is manual, though. It’s cool reading Bo Derek’s book, because she really loves one type of apparel–jeans and a T-shirt. Lives with her sister and just started dating recently. Ah, the convenience of life in the city, right? enjoy your Monday, Lisa!!

How did people spend their time before electricity? Knitting all day?

My alarm should be set for two different times, instead I just hit snooze, 7-8 times. ;)

Your Sundays sounds like most of my Sundays except I also watch Nascar and Desperate Housewives in between all the email deleting.

what really irritates me is when the modern technology keeps laughing at me because I don’t understand half of it.

You’re sorry you agree with me? WELL! ;)
And as far as the cabin in Montana, you know I’ve already got one of those.
I have to blog about my uncle Hal someday. He pulled the plug on civilization years ago. He lives by himself in a cabin in the woods no electricity, no phone, no tv, no power tools.
He’s got a wood stove, his garden, some sheep and cows, and a pickup truck.
After 5 years of that, my aunt took the kids and left him.
There are people who actually do that stuff! I think there is actually a happy medium.
For me its having my email, contacts, and calendar on my cell phone. Much simpler.

TWO alarms, 30 minutes apart? SNOOZER!!!!! (At least it’s not as bad as my husband’s infernal stinking alarm going off every 9 minutes for an entire hour. Some days, I would just LOVE to beat the damn thing over his sleepy little head!)

Denny – I know how you feel. Sometimes I feel like it’s all leaving me behind…

D-Man – I think it’s too late! and LMAO by the by.

Wade – I’m sorry that I find the info to be true, not sorry I agree with you. Funny guy!

Nat – LOL!!! I find I can hit the snooze button for a solid hour when I don’t want to get up. Needless to say that’s not helpful for my work day.

Too funny about your evil plot to brain your husband ;-)

    Ha-ha! Nat is FUNNY!

I know it can be such a pain, all this technology, but I would go into a depression without it. I remember that I would have KILLED for this stuff when I was kid, especially a cell phone! We used to walk around and pretend, like we had “Star Trek” communicators.

I didn’t know that stuff was supposed to save time, I thought they were toys to have fun with! Hmmmm

I guess I’ve been going at it all wrong! See what you’ve done!!

    ;)

Having a cell phone for me is like having a pet because you gotta feed it. So every other day I have to recharge the cellphone. It’s a pain in the ass and I often forget.
