On mile .02 of my 1.3 mile walk this morning, my finger tips froze (I was wearing gloves) and I couldn’t feel my ears or face. My head felt like someone was stabbing me because it was so effing cold and I am dumb and forgot my hat.

Brrrrrrr! is right … (and before anyone blames Canada, just remember, Alaska belongs to you guys … and last I heard Minnesota was part of the USA and our torrential storms result from your hurricanes) Is it spring yet? lol

The dog walks have been brutal. Ally da Pup already has a heavy built in furry coat AND she has her sweater. She wants to walk for several blocks at a time…

    She’s comfy, I’m freezing!

Exactly. My sinuses froze on the walk from the subway to my office, and I am not kidding. I wondered how cold it would have to get for me to NOT want to exercise. I think we’ve hit that point – I’m taking the MTA home tonight!

Yup. It’s getting to be downright Arctic around here. It’s supposed to get down to 6 tonight but then again, it is winter;)

I would like to find the family in this town who actually ordered and had shipped a box of snow (via eBay) because winter wasn’t coming fast enough for them.

Then I would like to bitchslap all of them and take away their credit card till they promise not to buy any more winter online.

Its as cold here as in NYC, about 10 degrees now. At least I can drive instead of walking to a train!

Uhhh, YEAH! Not to mention that my friend’s heat and hot water was off for two fricken days. We just called the police because this wasn’t the first time this happened and now all the tenants are getting a petition ready. Fricken slumlords! Gotta love New York!!!

I agree, Lisa even though I’m currently in Nevada. I do not handle cold weather well at all, much to my regret because there are so many nice Northeast cities I’d love to really explore. lol!

And that says it all. That says so much. That says why I’m here too.

    Yeah, what you said!

I went outside without my coat to pluck the newspaper off the driveway. Yep, you knew it already. I’m an idiot! ;)

I take my little Lhasa apso pup to the dog park each morning here in Boston. I thought I was gonna cancel ’cause it was so cold, but I did it anyway. I was in pain by the time his play session was over. He was perfectly fine! Do dogs have higher tolerance for pain than people!?!?
