Posted on Sunday 18 March 2007

This is positive thinking week at Casa de Lisa B.

Good stuff only – NO SNARK!

Even if it kills me… which it might… KIDDING!

5 things that I’m grateful for:

My family
Ally da Pup
Work that I love
Special Friends
Reasonably good health

5 things that make me happy:

A fun night out in New York
Laughing with my Mom
Watching Ally when she’s blissed out
Doing a good job at work, (and everyone is happy)
Trying a special restaurant that I’ve heard about

6 things I would love on a daily basis:

Sterling, (pale lavender) roses in a stunning Baccarat vase
Creme brulee
A handsome, charming, loving, man who has exquisite taste in jewelry
A housekeeper
The beach outside my front door
An enormous shoe sale at my favorite store

5 amazing experiences I’ve had:

I saw a double rainbow
I loved someone with all my heart who loved me back the same way
I viewed the Northern Lights from up in the sky while flying in a plane
I got nominated for a major award in my work, and attended the televised awards ceremony
I got to listen to Eric Clapton rehearse all day long

I can’t wait to hear a few of yours!

You know, this was the perfect way to start off the week for me, reading such a positive post! The UN-snarky LIsaB is just as wonderful as the snarky one. (But, don’t let the snarky Lisa go anywhere!)

Amazing experiences? I got to push two human beings out of my body! I stood under a pristeen waterfall in the middle of nowhere in Guam. I’m grateful for health, a loving family, and good friends.

    Thanks for this post. HUGS!

    I’ll try one for each.

One thing that I’m grateful for: A career/lifestyle that allows me to spend time doing things like answering these questions.

One thing that makes me happy: Warmth.

One thing I would love on a daily basis: A client’s check–on time or early.

One amazing experience I’ve had: Sit-down chat with a U.S. President.

These are great, Lisa. Nothing wrong with some inspiration – and I say it should be read with a full-chorus soundtrack. Something amazing to me that happened last month – standing in front of the Basilica of San Giovanni in Rome, and there were the original, massive bronze doors of the ancient Roman senate. There they were, 2,000 years later, huge and relatively intact. It sent wonderful chills up my spine. Okay, pretty much all of Rome does.

I went to Walkers in Tribeca. All I had was a bloody mary but my friends ordered yummy looking dishes, especially the BELGIAN WAFFLE One!

if I ever did anything useful at work it would be on TV — not on an awards show, though.

An amazing moment: The first time I held Nate and he stopped crying when I spoke to him.

What a coincidence ! This is also positive thinking week at La Maison d’Annie.

I love animals. So one of my amazing moments was a Jurassic Park kind of moment in an Australian national park. I was standing in the middle of a bunch of insistent kangaroos, handfeeding them some roo food pellets.

I got to look right into their faces, and even watched two of them box.
