Yet Another Conversation With Mom

Posted on Wednesday 30 May 2007

After our annual Tea Party ended, Mom and I dished about the event.

Mom – “It was a lovely party this year wasn’t it?”

Lisa – “Yes it really was. Everything just came together and worked.”

Mom – “It’s always hard to predict when that’s going to happen.”

Lisa – “Very true. You owe me one by the way.”

Mom – “Why?”

Lisa – “I kissed the biggest bitch in the room.”

Mom – “Which one?”

Go Mom.

You must have very interesting tea parties. Though aren’t tea parties just excuses for respectable Southern ladies to slam the hell out of everyone and each other? Very politely of course.

Nat – I think so too!

    Faith – I had a feeling lol.

GW – Thanks Hon, me too.

Quin – That’s very sweet of you, thanks. I’ll be happy to share :-)

    Like mother like daughter?
    Hmm.

As complicated as mom-daughter relationships can be, I sure want to keep my mom around for as long as I can.

She’s not nearly as snarky, though!
    Can I borrow yours?
