Part 2 of my birthday adventure will continue next week. In the meantime I’m busy fighting off a gnarly bacterial infection that chose to settle in my throat, (directly on my gland for those who like hearing the gory details,) thus making it hard to swallow. Lucky me! My lovely ear/nose/throat doctor just prescribed a week’s worth of horse pill antibiotics. The good news is that he said they will work quickly, in approximately 72 hours or so. I have no idea how I got this extremely unwelcome visitor, but I’m guessing that mass transit, (plane, subway, and or bus,) didn’t help.
GRRRRR.

Lisa: I can’t believe the people (idiots) who cough in public places with their mouth open! Feel better soon. The FBI has left town and some of the TV crew are still around because weather in certain Northeast airports is bad. Today I hear our Sky Harbor Airport is real busy.

No, not with you. Any other human, maybe. But it has me thinking of a Seinfeld episode where Seinfeld held Kramer’s nose and tried to make him swallow a pill containing dog medicine.

Aww, sorry to hear you’re sick. My hubby came back from DC with that same stuff too. I’ve been avoiding him so I don’t get it. But germs have a way of seeking me out. Get better soon dear girl!!
