Why oh why would you do that? I have sporadically rejoined for one month at a time, but it seems to be the guys on there. Plus I have only met losers (well only the ones I have dated have been losers). I have met some incredibly wonderful people (like you and Marty). But unfortunately for me, the dating scene is not worth $40 a month. Besides, there’s no one in my area.

Y’know, I tried eHarmony and match.com for awhile, and I realized I was paying a lot of money for them to set me up with people who didn’t match with me at all. Then, in my desperation, I started searching MySpace and Facebook for single girls in my area. I found one– we’re getting married in September. Sometimes the free option is the best one! Oh my gosh! I can’t WAIT to hear your stories! I tried one particular dating site a few years ago and after emailing back and forth we decided to meet up. It turns out not only did he live across the street from me (and we’re talking in a city of millions) but he also was BEST friends with a cousin of mine who is the most high maintenance, frou frou poodle you’ve ever seen! Needless to say, we weren’t a match.
